A private training operator used open power racks to turn existing lifting platforms into clear barbell bays while preserving bench access, plate handling and the route behind the stations.

01 / BUYER REQUIREMENT
Treat the operating envelope—not the frame footprint—as the real space requirement.
The operator wanted several barbell stations without sacrificing the lifting platforms already set into the room. The purchasing brief therefore covered bar-sleeve clearance, plate changes, bench travel, spotter access and the route behind the equipment—not just rack dimensions.
That distinction matters to any buyer comparing home gym equipment. A specification can fit on paper and still fail in use if the bench cannot enter, the bar cannot be loaded or adjacent users share the same movement lane.
02 / CONFIGURATION RESPONSE
Keep this installation power-rack specific, then compare cable and multi-user systems as separate decisions.
The installed open power racks follow the axes of the existing platforms. J-cup positions, safety supports and overhead pull-up crossbars keep the free-weight programme legible, while the open fronts leave a route for benches and spotters.
The project image does not show the pulley columns of a Multi Functional Trainer or the shared stations of a larger Functional Training Rack. Those products remain valid expansion options, but they are not attributed to this completed installation.

Observed result: the room reads as a sequence of usable lifting bays
The completed room gives each rack a defined working bay. Barbells and platforms align, the mirrors remain visible and the route behind the stations can still be identified. This is a visual result, not a claim about throughput or floor-space savings.
For a future phase, an R08 Multi Functional Trainer would answer adjustable-cable demand, while an R07 Functional Training Rack would answer a multi-user programme. Neither should be substituted for the installed power racks without a fresh room and user-flow review.
