Draw the working end before you buy
A rack-mounted landmine has two separate interfaces: the pivot at the rack and the handle near the loaded end of the bar. An attachment that fits the upright does not tell you whether the chosen rowing handle fits the bar. Identify the handle, bar and rack-pivot assembly separately.
Start with the sleeve's usable loading length. The handle receiver, all intended plates and the specified collar must share that space in the approved order. A plate count is a poor substitute for actual thickness when mixing bumper plates and thinner iron plates.
The handle can change where the load sits
An offset receiver may preserve sleeve space differently from a long tube. Compare a drawing of the installed handle rather than just its overall width. Ask where the first plate sits, which surfaces contact it and how much sleeve remains for the specified retention.
Follow the manual for the exact handle and revision. The two Rogue IS0164 instruction versions illustrate why a familiar product title is insufficient: their illustrated plate and handle arrangements differ. Obtain the instructions that actually apply to your supplied part instead of combining steps from both.
Check the grip and the plates together
A handle that slides onto an empty sleeve can still put a large plate against the user's chest or limit the intended movement. Include grip offset, plate diameter and body position in the clearance check. A small product photograph cannot demonstrate this relationship for every user.
Do not turn a cable handle into a landmine handle unless its manufacturer approves that use and supplies the required interface. Likewise, extending the sleeve, packing an oversized receiver or omitting the collar is not a way to create loading room. Choose a compatible assembly.
Make the order answer the space question
Request the exact handle drawing, sleeve interface, loading sequence, compatible retention and included parts. For a shared rack, also identify the permitted place to support the bar during changes and the route for adding or removing plates. Keep other users outside that working area.
Send PBF Fitness your rack model, bar details and intended plate set when requesting a landmine configuration. Ask whether a suitable handle is supplied or separately available and obtain its applicable documentation. If the prescribed complete stack cannot fit, revise the handle or plate combination before ordering.
